Andrea Cadenas

Andrea holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago, USA. She earned her LL.B. from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Andrea’s expertise has been focused on economic regulation, free competition/antitrust, unfair competition, administrative law, civil law and arbitration in connection with the telecommunications, natural resources and cargo transportation industries. Senior Associate in our BFE+ Regulation and Competition practice area since 2014. She is fluent in English and French.

Academic Activity

  • Professor of the Competition Law course at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and Universidad del Pacífico.
  • Teaching assistant of the Effective Legal Communication course given at PUCP from 2017 to 2018.
  • Member of the Content Committee of the THĒMIS civil association, which publishes the PUCP Law School Review.
  • Team member representing PUCP in the 4th edition of the International Commercial Arbitration Competition, organized by Universidad de Buenos Aires and Universidad del Rosario, and in the 5th International Competition on Arbitration and Commercial Law – 2013, organized by Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
  • Member of the winning team of the Lima 2011 MOOT competition, organized by Estudio Echecopar’s EEA Foundation.
