Agustín Valencia-Dongo

Agustín graduated with honors from the Master’s in Public Policy program of the University of Cambridge, England. He earned his LL.B. from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and has broad experience in the domains of economic regulation, free competition/antitrust, unfair competition and administrative law, with a focus on the hydrocarbons, energy, transportation infrastructure and other industries. He is fluent in English.

Professional Experience

Senior associate at the Regulation and Competition practice area at Bullard Falla Ezcurra+, Agustín became an associate at Bullard Falla Ezcurra+ in 2010. He was an intern at the Energy Markets and Security area at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in 2017.

Academic Activity

Agustín has taught numerous courses related to his areas of expertise, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), Universidad del Pacífico, Universidad de Piura, and Universidad Católica San Pablo. At present, he is a professor of the Unfair Competition and Advertising Regulation course of the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property and Competition Law program of the PUCP. In addition, he has lectured on topics within his field of expertise in Peru and abroad, as well as in the university extension courses delivered by the National Superintendence of Sanitation Services (SUNASS) and the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (OSINERGMIN).
