Gabriela López
Senior Associate | Economic Consulting
Gabriela holds a master’s degree in Competition and Market Regulation from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics in Spain and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
Every day is a discovery for Gabriela. The challenge of constantly learning and unraveling complex cases in which Economic Analysis and Law must be combined is a permanent stimulus for her, like moving from darkness to light. She is inspired by people who are passionate and generous, especially those who work hard, by vocation, to improve the lives of others. She is convinced that we must all contribute, wherever we are, to the well-being of others. Gaby’s hours fly by dramatically between work and family, but she always makes time to be aware of what she is doing and to be grateful for every experience.
She has experience in the fields of industrial organization, regulation, and competition policy, with a particular emphasis on the telecommunications, environment, transportation, and retail sectors. She has participated in more than 15 investigations relating to antitrust (cartels, dominant position, mergers, etc.), over 10 regulatory impact studies, and more than 30 studies of damage quantification and administrative fines.
