Agustín Valencia-Dongo
Senior Associate | Regulation and Competition
Augustín graduated with honors from the Master’s of Public Policy program at the University of Cambridge in England (2018). He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
For him, being a lawyer is a way of seeing the world, of knowing the rules of the game, the rights, and obligations that people assume when they take a certain posture. He identifies with the color gray because it represents human nuances and reminds him of the prudence required to avoid extremes. He is motivated by doing what is right all the time, acting intelligently and with kindness, and being a positive influence on others. Augustine enjoys contact with nature, a space for reflection and understanding to satisfy his permanent curiosity.
He has extensive experience in economic regulation, antitrust, unfair competition, and administrative law, with a focus on the hydrocarbons, energy, and transportation infrastructure sectors, among others.
