Nicole Martens

Nicole graduated from the Economic School of Universidad de Piura, Lima Campus. Her experience spans competition, regulation and financial disputes matters, with a focus on the energy, transportation and telecommunications industries. Moreover, she has represented clients in free competition/antitrust investigations (cartels and abuse of dominant position) and damage estimates in financial disputes. Nicole is fluent in English and has an intermediate level of French.

Academic Activity

Nicole was a teaching assistant of the International Macroeconomics and Short-Term Macroeconomics courses delivered at Universidad de Piura, Lima Campus. She participated in the 2019 edition of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (BGSE) Summer Schools, where she took the Quantitative Methods for Public Policy Evaluation course. She was also a member of the team that represented Universidad de Piura in the 2019 CFA Institute Research Challenge
