David holds a law degree summa cum laude from Universidad Hemisferios in Quito, Ecuador; a Master’s Degree in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) graduated with honours from the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID); and a Diploma in Tort Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. David has over six years of experience in litigation and arbitration related to the oil & gas, fishing, insurance, construction, technology, and concessions sectors. He is also a member of the Ecuadorian Institute of Arbitration. Previously, he served on the Executive Committee of Ecuador Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (ECUVYAP). David is fluent in English.
