Professional experience
Before joining Bullard Falla Ezcurra, Cristina worked as a senior associate in the International Arbitration group at Arnold & Porter in New York. For more than six years at the firm, she advised clients in complex disputes across a wide range of industries, including energy, mining, infrastructure, telecommunications, transportation, and finance. Previously, she was an associate at Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados in Lima, where she worked on domestic and international arbitration, judicial and administrative litigation, as well as competition law.
She is listed as an arbitrator at the International Arbitration Center of the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru (AmCham Peru).
Academic Activity
Cristina has taught the Effective Legal Communication course at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, as well as Civil Procedure at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola. She has also served as a teaching assistant for courses in Tort Law, Evidence Theory, Class Actions, and Civil Procedure at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
At Columbia University, she was a research assistant to Professor Anu Bradford on the Comparative Competition Law project, which focused on comparative studies of antitrust law.
She has participated as a speaker on topics related to international arbitration and legal skills at events held in Spain, Peru, and other countries.
