Matias holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has experience in the areas of Arbitration, Civil Law, and International Investment Law, focusing on the sectors of Hydrocarbons, Energy, Infrastructure and Airports. He is fluent in English.

Academic Activity
Matías has been a teaching assistant in the courses of Institutions of Commercial Law and Treaty Law at the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and in the course of Investment Arbitration at the Law School of Universidad del Pacífico.
He was a member of the Content Commission of THEMIS civil association, and a member of the Executive Board of THEMIS Law Magazine. At the same time, he was a member of the Peruvian Universities debate team that participated in the Harvard National Model United Nations conference in Boston, United States, organized by Harvard University.
