Arom holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, as well as studies in Civil Law and Arbitration from the Universidade de São Paulo. He has experience in civil law, international investment law, and domestic and international commercial arbitration, with a focus on the construction, electricity, sales, and professional services industries. He speaks fluent English, and Portuguese at an intermediate level.

Academic Activity
Arom worked as a teaching assistant at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Law School, where he taught Institutions of Private Law 2 (Legal Act) and Economic Analysis of Law.
He is a former member of the Board of Directors and Head of Accounting of the Civil Association IUS ET VERITAS – Journal of Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
Beneficiary of the DARI scholarship funded by the PUCP for outstanding academic performance, whose coverage includes the costs of attending classes at universities such as Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil.
