Professional experience

Partner at Bullard Falla Ezcurra+ since 2001. Alejandro is a former member of the board of directors of the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (OSINERGMIN), as well as president of the Commission for the Supervision of Advertising and Repression of Unfair Competition and member of the Free Competition Commission at INDECOPI, the Peruvian competition authority. He also served as Technical Secretary of INDECOPI’s Free Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

Alejandro is a former member of the advisory board to the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In addition, he served as member of the Board of Directors of the Ciudadanos al Día NGO and of the Ethics Tribunal of the National Society of Radio and TV.

Alejandro has a long track record in commercial and energy arbitration. He has served as an arbitrator in proceedings conducted as an ad hoc arbitration or an institutional arbitration administered by the Lima Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Conflict Analysis and Resolution of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).

Academic Activity

Alejandro heads the Master of Intellectual Property and Competition Law program at PUCP. He is also a professor of the Competition Law course given at this university. Moreover, he teaches the Competition Law and Free Market course at Universidad del Pacífico and Universidad de Piura.

He was a visiting professor of the Competition Law course of the Master of Business Law program at Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
