Alfredo Bullard

LL.M. Yale University. LL.B. Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Honorary Doctorate Degree from Universidad Continental. Experience in International and Investment Arbitration, Competition, Economic Regulation, Private and Contractual Law, with emphasis in industries such as construction, insurance, energy, telecommunications, mining, and oil & gas. As counsel and legal expert, he has been involved in over 150 cases administered under the rules of ICC, ICSID, CIAC, Lima Chamber of Commerce, AMCHAM-Peru and PUCP’s Arbitration Centre. He has been appointed as an arbitrator in over 300 proceedings at ICC, ICSID, PCA, CIAC, CCL, Amcham-Peru, etc. Alfredo is the only Latin American member of the London Court of International Arbitration. He is a member of the Board of Directors of CEIA. He was a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and served as Chairman of the Technical Commission of the Ministry of Justice that prepared the Peruvian Arbitration Law. He was a member of the Tribunal of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property – INDECOPI until 2000 (Peru). For over 16 years, Alfredo has been recognized as Band 1 / Star Individual, and is the only Peruvian recognized in the LATAM International Arbitration ranking by Chambers & Partners. He is also recognized as a Global Elite Thought Leader by WWL.
