Bruno holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with honors from Harvard Law School,
focusing on Law and Economics, Gender and Law, and Investment Arbitration. He earned
his law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru with a thesis awarded “summa
cum laude.” He also completed a one-year exchange at the Free University of Berlin and
attended the winter course at The Hague Academy of International Law.
Professional experience
Bruno has over 10 years of experience in nearly thirty national and international disputes involving complex contracts and international investment protection. He has been recognized by his clients in international rankings such as Chambers & Partners and GAR100. He also served as a litigation attorney at the New York office of a renowned international law firm and is listed as an arbitrator with AmCham.
Bruno began as an intern in arbitration and antitrust litigation at Bullard Falla Ezcurra + in 2012 and joined as an associate in arbitration litigation in 2015. He has participated in nearly thirty national and international disputes under CIADI, ICC, CIAC, UNCITRAL, CCL, AmCham, and COES rules, handling oral arguments, cross-examinations, and the preparation of briefs and arbitration documents. Bruno has also contributed to the preparation of over a dozen legal opinions on arbitration, civil law, and international investment protection.
Between 2023 and 2024, he worked as an international attorney in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, participating in international arbitrations, a judicial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery, and an SEC investigation, among others.
Bruno has worked pro bono on judicial litigations and legal opinions related to the defense of LGBTQ+ rights in Peru and the United States.
Academic Activity
Bruno is dedicated to teaching and regularly writes for academic publications. He has been a teaching assistant at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and the Universidad del Pacífico.
At Harvard Law School, he was a member of HLS Advocates for Human Rights.
At the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, he was a member of the Board of Directors and Director of Publications of the Civil Association IUS ET VERITAS – Law Review of the Faculty of Law at PUCP. He also represented the university in the Jean Pictet International Humanitarian Law Competition.
