Carlos Rios

He holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Master of Laws from Columbia University (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar). Carlos has over eight years of professional experience in the mining, oil and gas, construction, concessions, and retail industries. In 2019, Chambers & Partners named him an Associate to Watch, and he is currently the Young ICCA's Latin American Representative. He speaks fluent English and can communicate in French with no problems.

Experiencia Profesional

He worked as an International Associate for King & Spalding’s New York and Houston offices (2020-2021). In addition to being on the CCL’s roster of arbitrators, he has participated in over 30 cases administered by various institutions such as the ICC, ICSID, LCIA, CIAC, CAIP, and the CCL.

Actividad Académica

Carlos is currently a professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has previously taught the courses of Effective Communication, Integration Seminar in Law, and Oral Litigation Seminar, in addition to overseeing the Civil Liability course at Universidad del Pacífico.

Moreover, Carlos lectures on topics related to his specialization.
