Professional experience

Ignacio is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice at Bullard Falla Ezcurra+. He has participated in national and international arbitrations under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL).

His experience includes national and international commercial arbitrations related to private contracts, infrastructure and construction, as well as investor-state disputes under investment protection treaties.

Academic Activity

Ignacio has been a teaching assistant in the Arbitration, Justice System, and Public International Law courses at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He is an Extraordinary Associate of the THĒMIS Civil Association of the PUCP Faculty of Law. He was the General Editor of THĒMIS-Law Review and a member of its Board of Directors.

He completed the immersion program on artificial intelligence and law at the Møller Institute of the University of Cambridge, in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

He represented the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in the 12th (2025, Bogotá) and 13th (2026, Washington, D.C.) editions of the International Investment Arbitration Competition, organized by American University Washington College of Law and Externado University of Colombia. In the 13th edition, his team won first place.

She will also represent PUCP in the XIX Edition of the International Arbitration Competition – MOOT UBA, organized by the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Rosario, as well as in the XIV International Arbitration and Commercial Law Competition – MOOT MADRID, organized by the Carlos III University of Madrid and UNCITRAL.
